Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) will investigate last week’s knife-attack incident at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
Officer-in-Charge of Airport Police station Noor-e-Azam said though the order of transferring the case was issued several days back, officially the case was shifted yesterday to the CTTC unit, a specialized anti-crime unit of the DMP.
Earlier on November 6, Platoon Commander of Khilkhet Ansar camp
Ashraful Alam filed the case with Airport Police Station accusing the knife attacker. Inspector (Investigation) of the police station was made Investigation Officer (IO) of the case.
