Chittagong Bureau :
Police rounded up BNP leader and ward councilor of Chittagong city Mahbubul Alam as alleged with the attack to police members by hurling cocktal during hartal period in Chandgaon thana area .
He was arrested yesterday acting on secret information. Police sources said Mahbubul is the prime accused in cocktail case.
Sources said some hartal supporters including the ward councilor thrown cocktails to three members of Chandgaon thana police on January 21 last infront of Rose garden community centre there leaving three policemen were injured.
A case in connection has been filed with the Chandgaon thana under section 15(2) of special power act , sources said.
