BAF Shaheen College of Chittegong made a 4-4 draw with BAF Shaheen College of Kurmitola in the opening match of the Inter-Shaheen College Hockey Tournament at the BAF Shaheen College Dhaka Ground on Saturday.
Earlier, Air Vice Marshal Md Abul Bashar inaugurated the hockey competition by releasing the balloons as the chief guest while First Senior Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn was with him as the special guest.
A total of seven BAF Shaheen Colleges across the country are taking part in the hockey meet. They are: BAF Shaheen College Dhaka, BAF Shaheen College of Kurmitola, BAF Shaheen College of Jessore, BAF Shaheen College of Pahar Kanchanpur of Tangail, BAF Shaheen College of Shamshernagar of Sylhet, BAF Shaheen English Medium School and BAF Shaheen College of Chittagong.
The champions of the tournament will be awarded Tk 25 thousand while the runners-up of the meet will be given Tk 15 thousand as prize-money.
