Chattogram Bureau :
A views exchange meeting among sixty years old and above members of Chattogram Press Club was held at CPC Sultan Ahmed Hall with the senior Journalist Moinuddin Quadery Shawkat in the chair recently .
The chair of the meet readout the announcement of forming the Forum duly conducted by Journalist Makan Lal Sarkar. The meeting viewed different aspects and problems of the senior journalists. Among others, Eskandar Ali Chowdhury, Swapan Dutta, Faruk Iqbal, SM Ibrahim, Sultan Ahmed Ashrafi, Anowar Hossain Pinto, Abdul Hai, Nirmal Chandra Das, AKM Kamrul Islsm, Babul Chowdhury, Pradip Nandi, Mahbubur Rahman, Satadal Barua, Kutubuddin Chowdhury, Pankaj Dastidar, Saifuddin Md. Khaled were present here.
The meeting unanimously decided to constitute Advisory Committee and the Convening committee of the Journalist Forum. The advisory committee includes Eskander Ali Chowdhury, Swapan Dutta, Makan Lal Sarkar, Pankaj Kumar Dastidar. The Convening committee consists of Moinuddin Quadery Showkat as Convenor, Faruk Iqbal as Joint Convenor, SM Ibrahim as Member-Secretary, Joint Member Secretary Nirmal Chandra Das, Treasurer Tapash Barua Rumu, and 10 others were selected as members in the convening committee .
