UNB, Dhaka: Detectives on Monday arrested an employee of Bangladesh Railway for posting ‘provocative’ remarks on social networking site Facebook protesting the execution of
war criminal Mir Quasem Ali, from Khulshi area in the city.
The arrestee was identified as Sahadat Hossain Khandaker, assistant loco master of Railway East Zone and a resident of Shegun Bagan under Khulshi area. Tipped off, a team of DB police raided Shegun Bagan area and arrested Sahadat for making provocative remarks on Facebook after the execution of Mir Quasem, said assistant commissioner of DB of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP).
