Chittagong Stock market enlisted Saif Power Tec company- a berth operator of Chittagong Port has signed a pact for tk.18 crores with Chittagong Port authority recently. Out of the agreement, the company will repair four gantry crane, repairs and renovations of cranes and supply of one excavator , a CPA sources said. It is learnt Saif Power will undergo this repair and re novation works for cranes for 6 years.
Besides, Saif Power will also supply a Hydraulic Excavator at a cost of Tk.1.28 crores, sources said.
Meanwhile , Saif Power Tec has been entrusted the work of containing handling in the newly constructed Noor Mooring container terminal of CP through competitive tenders recently . On the other hand, former city Mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury demanded Saif Power Tec as persona non-grata in Ctg port and to declare Saif Power as black listed.
