Roads and Highways Department of Chittagong , Chittagong City Corporation, Chittagong Development Authority are doing the roads repairing , renovation and decoration, painting, conservancy and gardening works centering the forthcoming visit of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the port over the opening of first ever 5-star Hotel in Chittagong on first day of the next month.
Prime Minister is expected to inaugurate the 5-star chain hotel named Radison Blue in Chittagong on March 1, sources said. The entire areas from Chittagong Cantonment to Radison Hotel premises beside Chittagong Circuit House complex are being c decorated like painting in island, electric polls, roadside trees, repainting of traffic marks in road, signals , gardening from Chittagong Cantonment to Circuit house area are going in full swing.
Preparation meetings over the visit of the prime minister are being held frequently at district administration office alongwith the Sena Kalyan Sangstha and hotel management to make success of the PM’s visit in Chittagong. Mentionable that Radison Blue is owned by Sena Kalyan Sangstha and operation management with Radison Chain .Meanwhile a joint meeting of CDA, CCC ,CWASA, JAICA and high officials of Defence services was held at Radison conference hall on Sunday last, a sources said.
On the other hand , city corporation of Chittagong is also busy with the conservancy works of the city and nursing of the island based gardening, painting of footpaths and islands.
Mentionable that flower bases of different species of seasonal flowers of various cololurs are being placed infront of the hotel side road.
Mentionable that Radison Blue is a international standard hotel 0f multistoried building having all hospitality services including helipad on top of the building . Radison is the first ever 5-star hotel of international chain having about 300 rooms in the port city. (to be continued)
