Officials of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Department (CID) seized a Covered Van Duplex Board worth TK one crore from Fuzdarhat bypass road area on Tuesday night.
Custom sources said Taj Accessories Limited of Chittagong imported the Duplex Board for supplying to garments industries but that was being sent to Dhaka for retail selling by misusing bond facilities. Based on secrete information, officials of CID seized the Covered Van bearing number Dhaka-Metro-U-11-2031 from Fuzdarhat bypass road at 11 pm last night.
Jakir Hossain, deputy director of CID said Taj Accessories Limited of Chittagong imported the Duplex Board for supplying garments industries but that was being send to Dhaka for retail selling by misusing bond facilities. CID officials said they would take legal steps against the persons involved in the forgery.
