Life member as well as one of the prime patroniser of Chittagong Central Eid Jamaat committee and founder of Shafi Motors and noted philanthropist Alhaj S M Shafi passed away (Innah —Rajeun) on Friday .
On behalf of the Eid Jamaat committee , Principal Dr.Abdul Karim, Advocate MahbubuddinAhmed , Alhaj Shahjada Enayetullah Khan, Alhaj Golam Mohammad, Allama AbulKashem, Md Abul Bashar Dr.Moulana Sayeed Md. Abu Noman, MA Quddus, Dastagir Alam,Dr.Saleh Ahmed Suleman , Erfan Ali Bhuyia, Ashif A Kha n, Ershad Ali, Ashrafuzzaman Ashraf, journalist Shoib Khan Dr.Shafiul Azam, Moulana Abdul Abdul Mabud, Md Akhtar Hossain, Showkat Ali Khan, Shahjada Sharfuddin and Nowshad Quaderi,expressed deep shock on the death of SM Shafi.
The leaders of the Eid Jammat committee in the statement prayed for salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.
