To promote and strengthen collaboration in the field of Apparel and Textile education for both parties, BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT), Bangladesh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chengdu Textile College (CTC), China at BUFT Permanent Campus, Nishatnagar, Turag in the city recently.
Muzaffar U Siddique, Founder Chairman of the Board of Trustees of BUFT and Li Jian, Vice President, CTC signed the MoU on the behalf of their institutions. Vice Chancellor of BUFT, Prof Dr Nizamuddin Ahmed, Pro-VC Prof Dr Engr Ayub Nabi Khan, Registrar Md. Shahjahan, Dean of FTE Dr Engr Abu Bakr Siddique and Faculty Members of TE, delegates of China Zhang Xiaoqian, Director of International Exchange and cooperation, Song Yalu, Dean of Textile Engineering Dept, He Yijie, Assistant of International Exchange and cooperation and other delegates from China were present on the occasion.
Through this MoU BUFT and CTC agreed to cooperate for developing academic, professional and cultural exchange of students, faculty and research staff, curriculum, credit transfer, joint exhibition, knowledge exchange, student scholarship, etc.
