Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujon stressed the need for taking comprehensive and integrative measures to face the challenges of coronavirus outbreak and creating much awareness among the people to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
“Corona infection is increasing day by day. We should not be panicked… We should try to overcome this situation carefully” the minister said this recently while addressing the Panchagarh district monthly law and order committee meeting virtually as the chief guest.
He urged specially the general people to wash hands with sanitizer and soap wear masks as well as avoid mass gathering and create awareness of the virus. The government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has already taken various measures to stop the spread of coronavirus among the people.
Deputy Commissioner Md Johurul Islam presided over the meeting. Police super Md Yousuf Ali, Pouro Mayor Zakia Katun and members of the committee took part in the meeting.
