Cox’s Bazar made a flying start in Chittagong venue match of the Young Tigers Under-18 Cricket Tournament outplaying all losers Bandarban district by a comfortable 107 runs at the Women’s Sports Complex here on Saturday.
Favoured by coin Cox’s Bazar District batted first and piled up 216 for all in quota 50 overs with Kamrul Hasan making 76 runs.
In reply, Bandarban District which conceded 78-run defeat against Feni in the opening match on Friday were bundled for 109 runs in 31.3 overs with Osman Gani scoring 57 runs.
Earlier, Chittagong City Mayor and BCB vice-president AJM Nasiruddin inaugurated the meet in the Friday morning.
