Reluctance to health rules: Covid-19 patients alarmingly increases in Chattogram

The number of Corona attacked patients in Chattogram in last three days was 181 178 and 161 respectively.
The Experts think that the infection is increasing due to the reluctance to follow the health rules including not wearing mask and as the winter weather is conducive to the transmission of the virus.
According to the District Civil Surgeon’s Office on Wednesday, in the previous 24 hours, 1397 samples were examined and 161 Covid-19s were identified. Chattogram Civil Surgeon Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said, “The number of identities is going up. On November 17, about 18 percent of the total sample was positive. Last month, the number of identities per day was close to one hundred which has increased a lot this month. “Meanwhile mobile court launched recently in the city has fined 679 people in Chattogram for not wearing face masks yesterday .
The mobile court on Wednesday raided Kotwali, New Market, Jamal Khan, GEC and Dampara areas of the city and imposed the fine. Chattogram District Administration Executive Magistrate Umar Farooq, Rezwana Afrin and Nurjahan Akter Sathy led the drive.Magistrate Md. Umar Farak led the expedition in the Kotwali and New Market areas of the city. He fined 53 people 9,330 taka for not wearing masks. Executive Magistrate Rezwana led the operation in the Jamal Khan and GEC junction areas of Afrin Nagar.
She fined 20 people 1,500 taka for not wearing masks. Executive Magistrate Nurjahan Akhter Sathy led the mobile court drive in the Dampara area of the city. She fined 6 people 460 taka for not wearing masks.
