The cover of poet Samir Saha’s first poetry book ‘Sunil Samiron Mukto Taramon’ was unwrapped at Nazrul Mancha of Bangla Academy.
Prof. Sitesh C Basar, Dean of Pharmacy Faculty of Dhaka University, attended as the chief guest and unveiled the book’s cover on Tuesday evening.
Prof. M. Muzaherul Huq, former Regional Advisor of World Health Organization (WHO), South East Asia and Founder Chairman of Public Health Foundation of Bangladesh (phfbd); young female entrepreneur Sumona Sharmin; well-wishers and family members of the author; were also present.
Speaking at the event, the writer said he highlighted the matters of current reality, pleasure, emotion, love and separation of human beings and contemporary problems in Bangladesh through poems with prosody in the book, which contained a total of 40 poems.
Poet Samir Saha hoped that his poems would help raise awareness on building a peaceful society for all the people by overcoming the problems.
