Cocaine scandal: Court orders detained Sohel in shown arrest

 A court in Chittagong directed the police for shown arrest to detained official of Khan Jahan Ali group of Chittagong Golam Mostafa Sohel for alleged involved with the import of cocaine in sunflower oil drums.
 Metropolitan magistrate Farid Alam directed the police after hearing . Police after shown arrest under section 54 , prayed for police remand for 5 days but the remand hearing fixed today .
Additional Deputy Police Commissioner of CMP confirmed the matter to media yesterday evening.
Mentionable that sub-inspector of Bandar thana Osman Gani filed a smuggling case under Narcotics Act before the metropolitan court on June 28 last.
 In the case chairman of Khan Jahan Ali group Noor Mohammad was sued and Sohel is the Manager of Prime Hatchery- subsidiary of Khan Jahan Ali group, sources said.
 Meanwhile Customs Intelligence suspecting the presense of cocaine in sunflower consignment , sealed a container on June 6 last and after physical inventory of 107 drums of sunflower oil, one drum of 185 kgs detected Cocaine. After final chemical test in Dhaka, sunflower mixed cocaine was found in one drum.
On the other hand the authority of Khan Jahan Ali refused the import of any oil from abroad and they are not aware about this import and said some vested quarter used their name in importing these oil from Bolivia.
