A Dhaka court yesterday fixed February 27 for hearing on charge framing in a case against 51 persons including BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir for use of explosives and attempt to murder in the Paltan area.
Judge Fatema Ferdous of Dhaka’s Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court-5 passed the order last morning.
Yesterday was fixed for indictment hearing and Mirza Fakhrul appeared in the court. But as three accused Shafiul Bari Babu, Tanvir and Adil Babu already died and no report was submitted on the issue, the court deferred the hearing till February 27.
Police filed the case, number 6 (1) 14, in 2018 with the Paltan Police Station of the city.
