Members of police on early Tuesday arrested a couple with illegal arms from Khorbona area in the city.
The arrestees are identified as Rana, 31, son of late Nofor Mandal, and his wife Kohinur, 38.
Tipped off, a team of police raided the house of Rana and arrested the duo along with a revolver and three round of bullets, said Amanullah, officer in charge of Godagari model police station.
On primary interrogation, the arrestees confessed their involvement with arms business, he also said.
