UNB, Satkhira :
A man and his wife allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves with the same rope at Laxminathpur village of Kaliganj upazila early Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Amin Morol, 45, and Zaheda Khatun, 40, of the village in Moutola union.
Laskar Jayedul Haque, officer-in-charge of Kaliganj Police Station, said that the local people spotted the hanging bodies of the couple from a tree adjacent to their house in the morning and informed police.
Later, police recovered the bodies.
