Covid-19 claimed 36 more lives in the country in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, the single-day Covid-19 infection rate has stayed below 5pc for two consecutive days in the country.
With the latest fatalities, the total death toll hits 27,313 so far.
The latest data of the Directorate General of Health Services showed it.
As per the DGHS data, the country recorded more 1,376 caseloads in the same period pushed the total number of infections to 15,47,176, till the day.
A total of 28,736 samples were tested during the period across the country at 810 authorised laboratories while the country had tested 95,27,150 samples so far.
The daily test positivity rate was 4.79 per cent, while, the infection rate was 4.69pc on the previous day.
The overall infection rate in the country stands at 16.24pc.
The seven-day moving average of single-day deaths in Bangladesh was 36.42 on Wednesday.

The latest figures put the recovery rate at 97.35 percent and the mortality rate at 1.77 percent. Off the deceased, 17 were male and 19 were female patients.
About 30 of the deceased died at government hospitals and five from private hospitals and one in home.
Dhaka reported the most daily deaths and new cases among the eight divisions, logging 18 fatalities and 948 infections. Besides, Chattogram recorded 10 deaths from the deadly virus and 175 infections.
Khulna, Rajshahi and Sylhet each reported two deaths, while Mymensingh and Rangpur each reported one death.
Meanwhile, 1,427 patients recovered from the fatal disease in the last 24 hours brought the number of total recovery to 15,06,136.
Meanwhile, about 23.16 million people in the country have received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine; of them, some 15.26 million have taken both doses, the latest DGHS data show.
Bangladesh reported its first cases of Covid-19 on March 8 last year. The first death was reported 10 days later.
