The Comilla University (CoU) observed the National Library Day devoting the theme ‘Porbo Boi, Gorbo Desh, Bangabandhur Bangladesh’ on Wednesday.
Marking the day, a procession led by CoU Vice-Chancellor Prof Emran Kabir Chowdhury was brought out from the Administration Building parading important streets on the campus, ended in front of the Bangabandhu portrait.
‘There’s no alternative of library to educate nation. We, therefore, modernized our university library including several facilities,’ said VC Emran Kabir in a post rally short discussion programme.
Teachers, students and library staffs, among others, took part in the rally.
