Dr Abu Taher, an associate professor of Department of Physics, has been appointed as the new Registrar of Comilla University (CoU) on Tuesday, says an official notice signed by Md. Dalilur Rahman, Pro-registrar of CoU.
According to the notice, former Registrar Md. Mojibur Rahman has been transferred as internal management sector of the Central Library of CoU.
Dr Taher taking new responsibility as a challenge said, ” There will be whole hearted effort of mine to do the endowed duty. He sought co-operation from all in this matter”.
Dr Emran Kabir Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of CoU said, “Changing responsibilities is an ongoing process. It has been done to bring dynamism in the internal activities of the university”. It is to be noted that after joining as Vice Chancellor of CoU, he has brought changes several posts in the university administration.
