Coronavirus infection has spread to 75 regions of the capital, according to Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).
The IEDCR data records 313 residents of the capital testing positive till Sunday, which are about 50 percent of the total confirmed cases.
Mirpur is one of the coronavirus hotspots in Dhaka with a total of 52 patients.
Tolarbagh is the most affected areas in Mirpur with 19 patients, while, Mirpur-11 with 10 cases.
According to the IEDCR data Mirpur-12 with eight patients, Mirpur-1 with five, Mirpur-10 with five, Mirpur-6 with two,
Mirpur-13 with two and Kazipara with one patient.
The data shows that other hard-hit areas are Uttara with 17 patients, Wari with 16, Dhanmondi with 14, Lalbagh with 13, Mohammadpur with 12, Bashabo with 12, Jatrabari with 11, and Hazaribagh with eight patients.
Besides, Banani, Bangshal and Mohakhali each have seven coronavirus infection cases.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police put 54 areas under lockdown to contain spread of coronavirus.
In others areas, community leaders have stepped up to limit movement in their own efforts.
