The BCB President’s Cup will start on October 11. Three teams will take part in the 50-over-a-side cricket tournament. Mahmudullah Riyad-led Mahmudullah XI, Najmul Hossain Shanto-led Najmul XI and Tamim Iqbal-led Tamim XI will compete in the cricket meet. The first phase will be held on round robin league basis. Top two teams will get tickets of the final. The final will be held on October 23. All the matches will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur.
A team consists of 15 cricketers. Three players are included as the stand-by.
The players are now in holiday. But all the players will get permission to stay in the hotel after they will become negative in coronavirus test. The players are scheduled to take place in the hotel on October 10. The players will go underway in Covid-19 test today. The corona reports of the cricketers will be available in the night of that day. If the Covid-19 reports of the cricketers become negative the players will be check-in at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. The stand-by players will also go underway in Covid-19 test.
