UNB, Dhaka: A policeman, who suffered burn injuries in a petrol bomb attack on a police van by miscreants in the city’s Matsya Bhaban area on January 17, died at Square Hospital in the capital on Thursday. Police constable Shamim,25, succumbed to his injuries at Square Hospital around 10:00 am, said Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (Media) of DMP. Five policemen were injured as miscreants threw a petrol bomb at their vehicle in Matsya Bhaban area on January 17, the 12th day of the countrywide non-stop blockade enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.
