Bangladesh is at the outskirts of the global epidemic in Covid-19. The whole world is horrified by the coronavirus. China’s deadly virus has so far killed nearly 100,000 people worldwide. The number of victims is around 16 lakh. Medical science people could not say for sure that the catastrophic disaster would last for days. Today, the whole world is corona affected. The deadliest state in the United States is the procession of death. The deceptive US administration is seeking public help on a variety of medical issues. Trump himself has called on Modi for help in providing drugs. Europe’s presidents in Corona seek medical help from China. We also have about 15 doctors from China to treat corona diseases Are the states around the world in a position to help each other?
In this case, we have different views on political, social, family and religious issues. Some of which are absolutely gimmicky, some are really helpful. It is only natural to take actions that stand in front of this global pandemic. Multilateral coordination is required. Different opinions are being published from various concerns along with the government. We feel that these views need coordination. That is why it is especially necessary to take the time to integrate the views and demands of them together in coordination with some healthcare professionals, public health researchers, medical staff, lawyers, engineers and others. The government has taken various steps to combat coronavirus. In order to tackle the economic crisis, around 73 thousands crores taka incentives have been announced in the package. But the reality is that in a developed world where the virus is struggling to cope, it is not possible for a government like ours to cope with this disaster. This requires widespread public awareness and the contribution of civil society. Needless to say, Bashundhara group has donated 2000-bed based temporary hospital for Isolation, Shakib Al Hasan Foundation has raised fund of Tk 2 million, private bank owners’ association with 150 crores, and a one-day salary of many government and non-government organizations have donated in the Prime Minister’s relief Fund. Owners of the private medical college hospitals have decided to serve 24 hour. Individuals as well as many private organizations have given thousands of PPEs to doctors who are working to deal with this problem. Among those who can play a vital role in creating mass awareness are the teachers, respected imams of the mosque, religious figures, political figures, civil society and prominent people. They influence people in different sectors of society. The role of the Imams and Khatibs of mosques are the most important. Teachers can play a very important role in respecting and motivating people to carry out health rules… Retired doctors of Bangladesh can be employed at this critical time of the country. There are many experienced and capable doctors in the country. They can be involved in combating the coronavirus. Particularly in the medical field, the experience of these elderly doctors plays a vital role in this disaster. Retired troops, Rovers scouts, BNC workers can also be used to bring in discipline, including transshipment. All political parties belong to some voluntary organizations that can be used. Since social media is now very powerful, people are being distracted by various propagandas. A taskforce associated by media workers can be formed to monitor it.
Public gatherings have to be limited. In the case of collecting essential commodities, it is not possible to avoid crowds of people in the market for various reasons. As the hats are open till 5 pm, a large number of buyers are gathering in the market and it is difficult to avoid the danger. In many areas, maintaining a distance of 1 meter is not a condition for haats. In this regard, I have seen many administrative units are taking initiatives to remove old markets and launch them into playgrounds. One can imagine whether parks and playgrounds can be used for market transfers. Second: It is possible to prevent large numbers of people in the market at the same time by setting a specific day and time for the families of each neighborhood to enter the market or store. Third, online services are still not available in the city.
Online services can also be a crowd-sourced initiative. Government has been using all administrations on short term plans. They are constantly working tirelessly to keep the citizens at home, keeping them in social distance, eliminating various terrorists. So, volunteers should be urged to organize various services now without wasting time. Provide short-term training for volunteers who wish to join. Health rules must be taken precedence over this whole process. short-term trained volunteers may be assigned to assist the police station for some time.. Bangladesh Shipping Owners Association has offered to use 2000 cabins of their vessels for the treatment of patients in Isolation. It can be accepted today without any condition.. With the help of distance learning, the ability to volunteer at the hotline can be easily accessed by skilled manpower. Scientific research says that Dish-Towel / T-Towel is several times more effective in preventing the virus than Ganji’s cloth. Government may urge some garments owners to provide such towels quickly. It would be inappropriate to give permission for a wedding or birthday or any such social event. In this context, the local administration must be informed and clear policies should be formulated.
If a coronavirus-positive patient dies, it is important to have a functional, robust but humane protocol for the deceased’s body. In that case, some volunteer teams may be formed based on the area.
A nation that can establish its own rights by fighting, cannot defeat a disaster. For this, everyone needs a sincere effort. Corona is not afraid, everyone should unite and conquer her.
