Songs by the famous five poets who pioneered Bengali literature to break free from Tagore’s influence have also been incorporated as part of the cultural programmes.
At the press conference Sanjida Khatun, president of Chhayanaut and Rabindra Sangeet Shommelon Parishad shed light on the reason behind holding such conventions stating that the convention endeavours to look into many thoughts that present-day cultural personalities have regarding Rabindranath Tagore and propagate them in a way which can foster fraternity into humankind as promoted by Tagore.
