Launching a scathing attack on Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that his party has always been keen on Telangana formation, but the way Congress acted felt that it gave birth to a child but killed the mother.
Addressing a rally here amidst ongoing General Elections and Assembly Elections, Modi said that he was here with assurance that he is committed to Telangana’s future.
Hitting out at Gandhis, Modi said Narasimha Rao, who hailed from this land, became the prime minister, but this one family removed him from public memory.
Saying that the Gandhi family disliked Andhra Pradesh, Modi said when Rajiv Gandhi came to Hyderabad, he insulted a Dalit CM of the state at the Hyderabad airport.
