A condemned prisoner of Kashimpur central jail died at ShaheedTajuddinAhmedMedicalCollegeHospital here on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Omar Ali, 62, of Modhyayasadi village in Araihazar area of Narayanganj district.
Senior jail super of Kashimpur central jail (High Security) M Mizanur Rahman said Omar was admitted to the hospital after he complained of chest pain around 8:30 am. Later, he died at the hospital. In 2009, a Narayanganj court sentenced Omar Ali to death for killing a man in Araihazar area of the district.
