Speakers at a discussion emphasized collective efforts of all government and non-government organizations to prevent violence against women to make an exploitation free society.
They also pointed out that community support is very important for establishing women rights everywhere in the society as they have laudable contribution to make a prosperous society.
The observation came at a daylong meeting styled “Prevention of Child Rights and Violence against Women and Women Rights Establishment” at conference hall of Civil Surgeon Office in Chapainawabgonj on Thursday.
DASCOH Foundation under its ‘Strengthened Civil Society Protects and Promotes Women’s Rights Project’ organized the meeting in association with European Union and Nets Bangladesh.

respectively with Chief Executive Officer of DASCOH Foundation Akramul Haque in the chair.
Deputy Director of Department of Social Services Nur Muhammad, Trade Trainer of District Women Affairs Office Sherina Khatun and Research Officer of District Education Office Mesbah Uddin spoke as resource persons on the occasion.
Speakers said various government and non-government organisations are implementing various projects and working to establish women rights in the society along with prevention of early marriage and violence against women to establish a gender-equity society.
They put emphasis on responsive support from the community, especially teachers, parents and influential leaders to ensure women rights for preventing child marriage and violence against women.
