Narsingdi district police and district Community policing committee organised the discussion on the occasion of Community Policing Day at Narsingdi Police Lines on Saturday evening.
Earlier a grand rally with the participation of huge number of people led by Chief Secretary of Prime Minister office Nazibur Rahman and Deputy Commissioner of Narsingdi Syeda Farhana Kawnine paraded in the main roads of the town
President of District Community Policing Coordination Committee Dr Moshiur Rahaman Mirdha presented the well come speech in the discussion.
Police Super Narsingdi Pralay Kumar Joarder BPM(BAR)PPM presided over the discussion meeting.
He urged all to strengthen activities of community police to root out crimes. from the society. He said police is Public,Public is Police.He also urged the members of the community policing for engaging their efforts,involving common people to extend full cooperation to police in preventing and resisting social crimes, terrorism, drug and militancy.
