College teacher killed in Satkhira road crash

A college teacher was killed in a head-on collision between a bicycle and a motorbike at Goalpota intersection on Kaliganj-Kadamtola road in Kaliganj upazila on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Shusanta Sarker, 46, son of late Nepal Chandra Sarker. He was the assistant professor of Bangla Department of Shaymnagar Atarjan Girls’ College. Witnesses said, the accident occurred when Shusanta was returning home riding a bicycle, leaving him dead on the spot.
30 injured in Netrakona road crash

At least 30 people were injured when the driver of a bus lost control over the steering and plunged into a pond at Gozarkandi area of Sadar upazila yesterday morning.
On information, Fire Service men, policemen and locals rescued the people.
Critically injured six were rushed to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital and others to Netrakona Adhunik Sadar Hospital.
