A college teacher named Sayed Sorowar(32) was killed in a tragic road accident in front of Jalal Plaza of Bauphal upazila in Patuakhali district on Saturday morning.
According to eyewitness, Syed Sarwar, an English lecturer of Sir Salimullah School and College, Konkadia, was going to work on a motorbike at around 9 am. At that moment, a brick trolley car from the opposite direction hit his motorcycle with force. The deceased Syed Sarwar’s car fell into the road side ditch and he died on the spot. The deceased Syed left his wife and a two-year-old son.
The officer-in-charge of Bauphal Police Station said legal action would be taken based on fair inquiry.
