Police recovered the body of a college student named Mahmud Hasan (22) in Keraniganj onTuesday. He is a 3rd year student of History Department of Kabi Nazrul Government College. His body was recovered from the 3rd floor of one Kakon Mia’s house in Khalpar Charail area under Keraniganj Model Police Station. The body of the deceased was sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
The eldest brother of the deceased, Mehdi Hasan, said that my brother used to work in a gold shop as well as a study. He rented the house just 5 days before telling us to stay at a friend’s house without telling us anything. But he did not understand why he did kill.
Keraniganj Model Police Station sub-inspector Mohammad Shah Alam said that the father of the deceased Anwar Hossain filed an UD case on behalf of the plaintiff.
