A student of Sylhet Goainghat Degree College is missing for the last three days.
Emran Hossain 17, a 2nd year student of the Goainghat Degree College, and son of Habibullah, of Kurikola in Goainghat upazila in the district.
Habibullah said Emran headed for college from his house Monday morning and since then has remained missing.
He said he recorded a general diary with the Moglabazar police Thursday afternoon after they failed to find his son despite contacting with all of their relatives and searched all oossible places.
Moglabazar police officer-in-charge Shafiqul Islam said they were trying to locate the missing student.
