Kulshi Thana police of Chattogram metropolitan Police detained two more members of a dopping party of the city on Friday from Akbar Shah area of the city who are allegedly involved with the abduction of the student of Govt Mohsin College, Chattogram named Ziaul Hoque. The arrest of these kidnapers was confirmed by the Asstt. Commissioner of Police, Baizid zone .
The detained doppers identified as Md. Sajjad Hossain and Md. Rashed . ACP of Baizid zone sources said following the confession of the detained two members of the dopping gang earlier, the mastermind of the kidnapping named Sajjad andRashed was apprehended on Friday. Officer- In-Charge of Kulshi thana Pranab Chowdhury told that Ziaul Hoque was kidnapped on July 9 last by the members of dopping party from GEC Circle area and confined in a house of Akbarshah area in the city.
The kidnapers demanded ransom Tk. 5 lakh from the family of the student.
Following the allegations of the family members of the Ziaul Hoque before the Kulshi thana, police apprehended two members of the gang named Md. Abid and Noor Hossain and according to their confession, mastermind Sajjad Hossain and Rashedul were arrested, thana police sources said.
