Colleagues of a woman worker reportedly tried to kill her by pumping air with a compressor into her anus at a knitting factory in Kaliakair upazila of Gazipur.
The incident took place at Nishchintpura area of the upazila on Saturday (June 11).
So to get details, all efforts to contact with the Office-in-Charge (OC) of Kaliakair Police Station, failed.
At present the woman is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Bachchu Miah, Inspector, also in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp, said the people of the factory brought the sick woman to the hospital.
The reason behind the incident could not be known yet, he said.
