With an aim to impart world class training facilities to Bangladeshi youths, the only International Freelance Training Center in Bangladesh, CodersTrust has opened its 2nd unit recently in the city.
The center was formally opened in a ceremony at the Electronics Complex of the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) at the city’s Mirpur area on Tuesday, said a press release.
Managing Director of Palli Karma Shahayak Foundation (PKSF), and former Principal Secretary to Prime Minister, M Abdul Karim attended the ceremony as chief guest while former Education Secretary, Nazrul Islam Khan, Chairman of Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB), Dr. Md. Moshtafizur Rahman, Chairman of Optixman Communication, Iqbal Bahar and Country Director of CodersTrust, Ataul Gani Osmani also spoke on the occasion.
CodersTrust’s Country Director Ataul Gani Osmani said that the organization is creating a global platform for the youth community in Bangladesh to work in on-line, making them efficient by imparting quality training.
Gani introduced some of people in the function who are already working as freelancers by taking training facility from the CodersTrust. Of them there have youths, bankers, students and housewives.
He said CodersTrust has so far trained at least 2500 freelancers who are working on-line as per their own convenient.
Dr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Chairman of Bangladesh Technical Education Board, emphasized on vocational training for Bangladesh youths, hailed CodersTrust initiative as a good beginning and can work as a force multiplier to build Bangladesh as a powerful nation in the world.
Nazrul Islam Khan, Curator of Bangabandhu Museum, Former ICT and Education Secretary said, CodersTrust initiative is very timely and will be instrumental in developing relevant job skills for Bangladesh youths in freelancers’ world.
Md. Abdul Karim, Former Principal Secretary and Managing Director of PKSF said “CodersTrust is an amazing opportunity for Bangladesh. CodersTrust should become a go to institution that develops individual capabilities for Bangladesh and beyond”.
He thanked CodersTrust leadership team and Co founder Aziz Ahmad to have the courage to accelerate Digital Bangladesh mandate and helping Bangladesh for UN’s SDG imitative.
