Coca-Cola Bangladesh has started a supportive program namely ‘Support My School (SMS)’ under its commitment of expanding support to 16 schools by 2014. The program was launched at Khochna Government Primary School in Chirirbandar Upazila of Dinajpur district recently.
Under the program Coca-Cola will help improve sanitation, establish school library and provide sports materials. Gradually 15 more schools in Dinajpur district will get similar support.
In 2013, 16 schools across Bangladesh were under the SMS project with support from Coca-Cola.
Ahsanul Haque (Mokol), President of Teachers Association Dinajpur and Principal of Khochna College spoke at the inauguration ceremony while Mokarram Hossain Shah, Saintara UP Chairman, Chirirbandar, Nur Hossain Dulu, Upazila Vice Chairman, Chirirbandar, Provash Chandra, SMC Chairman and others were present on the occasion.
