C’nawabganj BNP President sent to jail custody

President of Chapainawabganj district unit of BNP and former law maker Shahjahan Mia was sent to the jail custody as he surrendered to the courts in three cases on Sunday.
He surrendered to the courts of the district and session judge and a judicial magistrate on Sunday and prayed for bail in three cases of murder, subversive activities and explosives.
Chapainawabganj district and session judge Md. Enamul Bari rejected his bail prayer of an explosive case and ordered to send him to jail custody. On the other hand, judicial magistrate Shariful Islam accepted his bail prayer in an explosive case but rejected his prayer in a murder case and ordered to send him to jail custody.
The three cases were recorded against him with Shibganj thana on January 5, 2015 in three separate incidents of explosives, subversive activities and murder of one Jamshed Ali at Gopalnagar in the upazila.
While contacted, public prosecutor Zobdul Hoque confirmed this.
