The academic council of Chittagong Medical College on Saturday protested that the media published news mentioning that the CMC prepared a “motivated” autopsy report over the death of BCL leader Diaz Irfan Chowdhury.
In a letter sent to the media, the CMC said some media published such news without verifying the allegation of Diaz’s family and consulting the authorities concerned which is unwanted.
These reports are baseless, it said. Diaz’s family members from a human chain on Friday alleged that the CMC prepared the “motivated” autopsy report.
Diaz, assistant secretary of BCL, was found hanging in his residence near Gate No-2 of Chittagong University on November 2.
