Authorities have decided to reopen the Chittagong Medical College, which was closed indefinitely due to clashes between the two groups of Chatra league allegiance to ruling party. . At the same time, it was decided to expel 30 students involved in the clashes for different periods. The decision was taken at the meeting of the academic council of the college on Tuesday (November 23), said the principal of the college, Prof. Dr. Shahena Akhter.
She said that it has been decided to open the college from next 27th. Apart from this, the hostel for the students will be opened soon but some more time is being taken to open the hostel for the students. She also said that several people have been expelled in different terms in the incidents that took place on October 29 and 30.
