Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha will hold a courtesy meeting with the judges of the Supreme Court, Attorney General, leaders of Supreme Court Bar Counsel and lawyers on October 30.
Supreme Court authority in an official release signed by its Registrar General Syed Aminul Islam urged all the people concerned to be present at the program to be held from 10.30 am to 12 noon on the lawn inside the court building.
The Supreme Court will resume its regular activities from October 30 after around two-month long vacation. The apex court went into recess on September 9, leaving the vacation benches of High Court and court of Chamber Judge of the Appellate Division to deal with the urgent matters.
The Chief Justice is also scheduled to address the bench officers and assistant bench officers of the apex court at a programme on October 27.
The program will start at 11 am at Supreme Court auditorium on that day.
