Chief Justice SK Sinha, whose one-month ‘sick leave’ stirred speculations, has attended the Lakshmi Puja ceremony at Dhakeshwari Temple.
“He came to the temple with his wife to offer prayers. He stayed for about 20 minutes,” said Tapan Bhattacharya, the national temple’s manager, on Thursday.
Sinha then spent some time in the temple’s office room on the first floor, joined by senior lawyers Rana Dasgupta and Subrata Chowdhury.
When asked by reporters about whether the chief justice appeared ill, Dasgupta said, “He did not look like that way to me.”
