BSS, Dhaka :Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha yesterday said justice would have to be established in society with the concerted efforts of all.”It is possible to get rid of corruption, bribery, terrorism and conflicts in society through the awareness of all,” he said speaking as the chief guest at “Bijoya Reunion” in the city.Bijoya Puranmiloni Parishad-2015 organized the reunion at Shaheed Shafiur Rahman auditorium of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) here.The chief justice said there are some bad people among the followers of every religion. But theirnumber is very few, he added.”Earlier, they used to kill the pundits. They are still killing the good people. They can move in society freely as they get patronization indirectly,” he said and posed a question from where the bad people get so much strength.Presided over by SCBA President Khandaker Mahmud Hossain, the function was also addressed by Attorney General Mahbube Alam, Bar Council Vice-Chairman Abul Baset Majumder and SCBA former Secretary Barrister AM Mahbub Uddin Khokan, among others.Judges and a large number of lawyers attended the reunion.
