Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha yesterday said most of the existing laws in the country have become outdated and soon initiatives will be taken to amend the laws.
The Chief Justice said radical changes will be made in the Supreme Court to ease the backlog of cases and give quick service to the people seeking justice.
He said the changes will become visible within a month.
He came up with the observations while visiting Saraswati Puja mondop organized at Martyr Shafiur Rahman Auditorium of the Supreme Court.
Justice Sinha also visited Puja Manch created by the side of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court and Puja organized by Dhaka Bar Association.
He talked with leaders and members of Dhaka Bar Association and assured them all possible help from his side.
