CJ calls to resist and socially boycott the corrupts

Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique on Monday called to resist and socially boycott the corrupt and black marketers being inspired by the ideals of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
He made this call at a discussion meeting organised on the occasion of National Mourning Day on August 15. The Supreme Court administration organised the programme in the Supreme Court auditorium.
Judges of the Appellate Division Justice Obaidul Hassan, Justice Borhanuddin and Justice M Enayetur Rahim, judges of the High Court Division Justice Jahangir Hossain, Justice Md Habibul Gani, Justice Sheikh Hassan Arif, Attorney General AM Amin Uddin, among others, were present at the programme.
The Chief Justice said, “On this day of
mourning, I remember Bangabandhu’s speeches delivered in different times, where he mentioned corrupts, smugglers and black marketers as the enemy of the country and the nation. Let us follow the ideals of this great leader and resist the corrupt and black marketers and boycott them socially. Let we work for establishing a fair and non-discriminatory society.”
A prayer session was held at the end of the mourning discussion programme seeking peace of the souls of all those who were assassinated on August 15 in 1975.
