Civil service officers urged to work efficiently

State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain said that civil service officers need to work more efficiently for the successful implementation of government plans.
“The role of government employees in the successful implementation of the plans adopted by the government is immense, therefore, the members of the Bangladesh Civil Service need to work more efficiently and competently in the proper implementation of these plans,” he said.
The state minister said this recently while speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural function of the 72nd Basic Training Course organized at Bangladesh Public Administration Training Center in Savar, said a press release.
“The country and the people need to work honestly to provide proper services, they need to make themselves more qualified so that they get proper services at the right time,” he said.
The state minister called upon the government officials and employees to work with dedication and sincerity to make the country more prosperous.
BPATC Rector Md. Zafar Iqbal presided over the function. Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration KM Ali Azam and BPATC Member Directing Staff Syed Mizanur Rahman spoke on the occasion.
A total of 627 officers from 18 cadres of 34 to 38 BCS are participating in this six-month training course.
The training course will be conducted at a total of eight institutes including BPATC in Savar.
