The 22nd Chittagong International Trade Fair (CITF)-2014 will be jointly inaugurated by the Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed MP and Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosaaraf Hossain in the inaugural function today ( Saturday) .
M.A Latif MP and the President of FBCCI Kazi Akramuddin Ahmed will remain present as special guest. Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries is going to organise the fair in the Railway Polo Ground.
Over 400 participants would put their products in 38 pavilions, 239 stalls, 8 premier pavilion and 16 standard pavilions.
India, Chaina, Thailand, Pakistan and Iran also participated in the fair. The Fair will be opened from 10 AM to 10 PM everyday. Sufficient security arrangement for the visitors and stall owners will be provided.
Chittagong Chamber President Mahbubul Alam disclosed this in a press conference yesterday at the Chamber Conference Hall.
The Fair Committee Co- Chairman and Vice President of CCCI Syed Jamal Ahmed ,Director Mazharul Islam Chowdhury and Mahfuzul Hoque Shah attended the press conference.
Chamber President M. Mahbubul Alam presided over the meeting.
