Chuadanga town dwellers deprived of civic amenities

About 125,000 people of Chuadanga Town are being deprived of requisite civic amenities.
Despite up gradation of the town into district headquarters they Pourashava Authority has not yet provided essential urban facilities for the town dwellers despite taking taxes regularly.
As such, most of them remain filled with dirt and filth conseuint upon constant water logging on roads, particularly in Town Field Para, Mashjeedpara and Thana Council Para areas of the town during rainy season. In the wake of such water logging town life comes to a standstill. The conservancy service in the town is not satisfactory either. The roads, lanes by lanes are not swept regularly. In the absence of public latrine people respond to the call of nature at road side polluting the atmosphere.
Mosquito menace has intensified in the town much to annoyance of members of the public. Despite repeated appeals the pouro authority took no step to fight the menace.
The market place in the town have been in bad shape for long. There is no systematic arrangement of shops in the markets. Shortage of space lack of drainage system as well as supply of pure drinking water are the main short comings of the markets.
