Chittagong trail by 98 runs against BKSP, day-1

Chittagong Division trailed by 98 runs against Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP) after day one in a three-day match of the Young Tigers Under-18 National Cricket Competition at Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra on Friday.
Batting first after winning the toss, BKSP opened the first innings and scored 175 runs for all in 61.4 overs. Number nine Abu Naser scored unbeaten 43 runs while number three Asif Hossain also scored 43 runs for their side.
Alam Mia and Shakhawat Hossain took three wickets each for 23 and 24 runs respectively in 11.4 and 12 overs.
Chittagong Division opened the first innings and scored 77 runs for 9 at stumps in 35.1 overs. Number eight Tarek Kamal (13) and number 11 Shakhawat Hossain (0) were batting on at the end of the day.
Abu Naser grabbed three wickets for 19 runs in 7 overs while Yasin Arafat took two wickets for 21 runs in 6 overs.
In the other match at Rangpur Cricket Garden, Sylhet Division trailed by 47 runs against Barisal Division after day one.
Sent to bat first, Sylhet Division opened the first innings and scored 104 runs for all in 57.4 overs. Naimul Islam Shuvo and Redwanul Islam scored 32 runs each for their side.
Asadullah Al-Galib grabbed four wickets for 17 runs in 13 overs while Shofi Ahmed, Foysal Uddin and Ariful Hasan Shuhan took two wickets each for 0, 6, and 26 runs respectively in 1, 6.4 and 19 overs.
Sylhet Division opened the first innings and scored 57 runs for one wicket, at stumps, in 35 overs riding on an unbeaten 2nd wicket stand of 56 runs in 35 overs, contributed by skipper Mamun Ahmed and Asadullah Al-Galib.
Mamun Ahmed and Asadullah Al-Galib were on batting, scoring 35 and 19 runs respectively.
Mojammel Hasan Shakil took the only wicket for 15 runs in 7 overs.
